In “Liars Don’t’ Qualify” what is the general point of view of the narrator?
- The narrator thinks that the requirements set up for African Americans to vote were unequal and unjust
- It was unfair that whites were allowed to vote, but it was challenging for blacks even though they had the right to vote
- Laws do not change people, since the 15 amendment was not followed
- Blacks are still required to prove themselves and wait on the whites, so nothing has changed.
- The requirements for Blacks to vote are pointless, it is just going through a process, since the system will find a way to not give them the chance to vote.
- That America is not ready for change and that in the future someone will come along that will bring about effective change .
- At present America is not ready for change but there is hope for the future
